Sixth Street Photography Workshop is committed to
sharing the art and skills of photography with homeless and low-income
adults and youth. Public art exhibitions and projects are central
to realizing our mission along with free, consistent instruction
and support for our participants. We aim to continue building our
twelve-year archive of images documenting the low-income and homeless
community.
We have successfully created a powerful artistic community within
a stratified and marginalized population and are devoted to continuing
its growth.
